I am a humanistic counsellor, and I use Transactional Analysis as one of the tools to help you achieve the results you want.
My background includes twenty years in business management, supporting people in both their professional and personal development. I have particular expertise in supporting Executives and others who have quite an isolated life − at work and/or home.
Building on this experience, I completed my formal qualification: FD in Humanistic Counselling with Transactional Analysis at the University of Winchester.
Part of my counselling process is to identify any patterns of unhelpful or negative thoughts, behaviour or feelings that are associated with the problems people are facing. We then work together to overcome the problems and to replace negative thinking or behaviour with helpful and more positive responses.
I provide a professional and supportive experience. I am an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy MBACP (Accred) which means that my practice meets the standard for a competent, ethical and independent practitioner. I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice and its Professional Conduct Procedures , the details of which can be found by clicking here.
