I have more than 11 years experience of counselling adults and young people in a variety of settings including GP surgery, workplace settings and private practice.
My background includes twenty years in business management, supporting people in both their professional and personal development. I have particular expertise in supporting Executives and others who have quite an isolated life − at work and/or home.
Part of the counselling process is to identify any patterns of unhelpful or negative thoughts, behaviour or feelings that are associated with the problems people are facing. We then work together to overcome the problems and to replace negative thinking or behaviour with helpful and more positive responses.
I aim to provide a professional and supportive experience.
I am an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy MBACP (Accred) and the National Counselling Society, which means that my practice meets the standard for a competent, ethical and independent practitioner. I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice and its Professional Conduct Procedures , the details of which can be found by clicking here.
You can book your initial, no obligation, no cost, 30 minute meeting by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 01258 577570 – if I am with clients, please leave your contact details on my secure voicemail.
